Step 1: Start the program

After starting the program, enter the wizard of Cendarsoft Data Recovery, you simply click “Next” for two simple settings.

Step 2: Select the location of the missing files

This is the first step for set up, you only need to give the location of the lost file, such as: My Documents, a partition or external removable disk. If you do not remember the location of the file you lost, you can choose to scan the whole computer. If you know the exact location of the missing file, you also can specify a folder to search.

Step 3: Select the type of file you want to recover

This is the second step of setting, you can set the type of file you need to restore, such as: graphics, video, documents, audio or all of the supported types. You can also click “Select Formats” button to select the file type which you need to restore.

Step 4: Start the search for lost files

In step 3, click “Start” button to start the search for the missing files

Step 5: Preview and recover lost files

For image files, such as: PNG, BMP,, JPG, TIF, WMF, EMF, GIF, and so on, you can choose to preview, before the restoration to determine what to facilitate the need to restore the files.

Check a single file before, have a check box or a file check box to determine the need to restore the file.

Important Node: Do not save the file to the location of you lose your files, if you stored them in the same location, may cause file corruption.
